São Paulo, May 26, 2026 – Nubank launches NuCel today for customers between the ages of 16 and 18. This innovation reinforces the company's strategy to deepen its relationship with new generations from an early age, combining digital autonomy for teenagers with predictability and safety for parents or legal guardians.

With a 100% digital journey, young users can sign up for, manage, or cancel the plan directly through the Nu app, with no bureaucracy or lock-in contracts. The model operates as a capped plan (“plano controle”), with automatic renewal and no risk of unexpected charges, ensuring control over the family budget. Legal guardians receive notifications throughout the sign-up, cancellation, and payment status processes.

“Mobile internet has stopped being just a service and has become part of young people's social lives. By integrating connectivity into the digital account, we are able to offer a simple, transparent experience aligned with how this generation interacts with technology, without the need for manual top-ups, interaction with traditional customer service channels, or waiting in lines to be assisted,” says Arthur Valadão, Vice President of xxxx at Nubank.

The solution offers young customers a 5G connection with unlimited access to WhatsApp and the Nubank app. NuCel customers also get access to a ”Caixinha” (Money Box) with a boosted yield of 120% of the CDI for a limited time. This serves as a way to encourage young people to invest early on, opening up possibilities for dialogues about finances with their guardians.

“Financial education specialists recommend that teenagers from the age of 13 start developing their financial and budgeting skills, making supervised spending decisions and receiving small financial tasks and responsibilities. With the launch of NuCel for young customers, we want to strengthen the legal guardian's confidence in the transition from 'control' to 'autonomy',” explains Valadão.

“It is a product portfolio strategy aligned with developing age-appropriate financial skills, adapting to the customer's needs according to their stage of maturity,” he concludes.
