Nubank emphasizes that this incident was the result of an isolated technical error, which was quickly identified and resolved. It was determined that a developer accidentally triggered a communication workflow related to the liquidation of financial institutions. Since there was no actual institution associated with this workflow, the company's name appeared as a default placeholder. The issue affected a small group of customers and had absolutely no impact on security, operational stability, or the functioning of our services, which continued to run as normal.

From the very beginning, Nubank handled the situation with total transparency, communicating with the affected users and even utilizing our public channels. We also promptly took all necessary measures to immediately correct the problem and prevent it from happening again. We apologize for the inconvenience and reiterate our commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience through clear and responsible communication.
