São Paulo, March 26, 2025 – Nu, one of the largest digital financial services platforms in the world, announces Guilherme Souto as its Investor Relations Officer and Head of Market Intelligence, reporting directly to Guilherme Lago, Chief Financial Officer. Souto will undergo a transition period alongside Jörg Friedemann, who is stepping down to pursue a new career opportunity next month.
With extensive experience in the financial and investment industry, Souto has spent nearly a decade as a portfolio manager and equity analyst, primarily focused on financial services, at Brasil Warrant Gestão de Investimentos. Earlier in his career, he served as a partner and equity analyst at Vertra Capital, and also as a risk and equity analyst at Opportunity Asset Management.
Souto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and a Master’s in Finance and Economics, with a specialization in Microeconomics, from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (EPGE/FGV).
